Symmetry Property Developers - be warned consumers

In what was supposed to be the experience of a lifetime, the building of our dream house 3 years ago is fast turning into a nightmare. Having negotiated and re-negotiated several times with the builder, snags are not being tended to in full, communication from the clients are ignored and not responded to, very poor service by those sub contractors that are still prepared to come back to site as they are fed up with being mis-used by this builder. We have reverted to fixing issues ourselves at a very big cost to ourselves but am perplexed by the lack of sympathy we are receiving from the NHBRC on this issue. So much for master builders having pride in their profession. There has been numerous comments about this builder in the area and I encourage those considering him to get into contact with me, come out to my house even to see the impressive file we have built up over the years on reneging on commitments to complete this project. We are absolutely disgusted by this process to say the least.
