Harassment, Harassment, Harassment
My Capfin account was handed over to Symington & De Kok two months ago. Things have been tough and yes I couldn't service all my account payments as needed. But, I have not dodged anyone, when people call, I answer my phone and speak open and honestly and explain that I am busy sorting things to the best of my ability and that I am not an unwilling payer. This has always been met with understanding and willingness to assist from the 2 other companies that I am busy sorting out. But sadly, that is not the case with Symington & De Kok. I made an arrangement to settle the outstanding balance more than a week ago on 15 December of R5800 odd. But i still get a call everyday to remind me that I must pay. I asked nicely, stop calling, I know I need to pay, but they recon they will stop calling if I consent to a debit order or once I paid. So I told the lady the previous time that I will block the number as I do not wish to repeat everything. Seemingly, this is now a game to see how far they can push me. Low and behold, I just got another call now to remind me that I must pay. So Symington & De Kok, I am going to do you one better and not pay this account this month. I don't care if I lose my stupid little 20% discount, I will gladly forfeit such to make your job harder. Sorry Capfin, we could have been done with each other, but my credit record is messed up already, so I can afford to play this game with your collection company seeing that they have no regard for the client that is supposed to be the reason why they are in business.
