Syam Distributors fail to deliver and ignores customer request for a refund

We bought a stainless steel Custom Built-in 1200 Gas Braai and 2 x 19Kg LP Gas Cylinder Cages from Syam Distributors in Johannesburg and having paid according to their terms at the beginning of May 2019, we still do not have these installed.

Calvin Barnard the Sales person and Cindy gave us the run around promising that the installation will be the next few days or the following week since beginning of July 2019.

I later escalated to the MD, Sydney Kayklif, who also gave the same rehe****d story over three times with details about laser machines breaking down and having to fly people from China to assist. Each time I call, they go to the production line to check, give feedback that the order is almost completed waiting to be polished and promise to deliver within days.

After numerous telephonic discussions, text messages and e-mails, he is now busy and literally ignoring all the said correspondences. I asked for a refund with interest and he is ignoring that too.
