Switch Ova Soweto Deceit

Last year Switch Ova consultants contracted to Eskom came to register us for pre paid. They went into extensive detail explaining how Eskom was going to write off debt after customers switch to prepaid and then disappeared. Over the weekend they came back with an attitude and threats. We don't have a problem switching to prepaid and have not debt with Eskom except for the debt of the previous home owner. We requested the communicated Eskom 5 year debt write off plan in writing from them and they got into a frenzy. We told them also that it was within our consumer right to request agreements/promises in writing. If this debt write off promise is legitimate, why can't we have it in writing. <br> <br> Now everyone is up in arms about Eskom/Soweto situation. Government was right in saying Eskom has to re-engage the people and make sure communication is clear and unambiguous. Until such time I will not be accepting this prepaid meter. They must come shoot me if they want to.<br> <br> Eskom needs to investigate this Switchover company because when they leave, Eskom might face litigation for years to come.
