************** based on color of skin, by Annette Ross from SwimSA/NTS

I'm a black swimmer who persuaded a swimming instructor course with NTS/Swimming South Africa, and passed their course examination, out of 40 students who wrote their examination, only 6 students who passed. and i became one of these 6 students, and moreover, a topper student of these 6 students. however, i never received my swimming instructor certificate from swimming South Africa, maybe because i'm black?? because these other 5 white students were sorted, received their own certificates. Looking at our country's economic situation, with the current unemployment rate escalation, I'm only a black married family man, who was trying to do their right thing, to stand up for my family, knowing that with this swimming instructor certificate was going to secure a job salary opportunity...not knowing that living in a country full of ************** based on skin color, i must say; and nevertheless, had some unforseen experience, a bitter one, that could push a black hopeless township forks to the ends of crime, since my children couldn't eat air, nor drink a wind. I'm sorry for my strong language, my heart is bleeding out of this. however i chose to fight the right way, writing to hellopeter...hoping this will help me to be heard, and be assisted/given my own swimSA certificate. I went through a lot, in the processes of this course, to end up with nothing to show on, even if i had passed the course. The course processes: 1. We were assessed on our swimming techniques, and others didn't make it, at this point, and many more. 2. We went for two study modules material, this is where only 6 students passed. 3. We locked 20 hours for practical training with other qualified SwimSA independant Instructors. 4. We went for the final asses*****t with one of the SwimSA Assessor, who finally assessed me in private, only me and her, because i was the last to be assessed that day, then she gave me a report that i was incompentent?? just like that, please do mind that, i had 7 years experience already as a swim Instructor, however, these other white young swimmers without any experience, she gave them positive results, as compentent. I lost so many job salary opportunities due to the absent of this swimming instructor certificate, i tried to fight for this, it has been 6 years now, they didn't give me my certificate.
