Terrible Experience - Swimmatix Bellville

We had one swimming lesson at this school and it was a terrible experience. If you practice any form of positive parenting, I wouldn't recommend it for your family.

I booked a lesson for my then 3-year old daughter - it was her first swimming lesson - and the 1-year old in the lane next to her cried/screamed the entire lesson, tears and mucus running down his face. The instructor continuously tried to get my daughter to put her face under water despite my asking her not to. Eventually, on the step, she threw two hands full of water in my daughter's face. This is simply not how we parent. I notified them the next day that we would not be returning as it wasn't a good fit. They had the audacity to keep invoicing me for the semester and eventually hand me over as a defaulter despite the fact that I paid for two lessons as a courtesy and the swim cap on telling them that we wouldn't return.

We've been at a different swim school ever since with a great culture and my daughter loves it there.
