Spar Swellendam always shines!

I went to Spar in Swellendam on 9 September 2024 to buy coffee and there was no stock of what I was looking for. Martin came and asked me what I was looking for and I told him. He immediately sent an email to the supplier on his phone to order it and told me that it should be delivered by Wednesday, and he would let me know when it arrives. I missed a call from him on Tuesday, the 10th and he phoned again on the 11th to inform me that the stock has arrived.

Martin was extremely helpful and friendly, and it was such a pleasure to experience such excellent service. I really appreciated the way in which he went the extra-extra mile to assist me.

When I went to the store on the 11th, I was welcomed by Casper at the entrance, and he immediately started wiping down my trolley with a sanitiser. He is always welcoming, approachable and he has often assisted me with carrying my groceries for me to the car. I am a pensioner, and my legs are a bit old, so I find it extremely difficult to get my groceries to my car, as parking for the elderly is a huge problem.

I would like to convey my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to both these gentlemen for their outstanding service and compassion.

Shopping at Swellendam Spar is always an absolute pleasure, and it would be regrettable if I have to start shopping at another retailer as a result of lack of convenient parking for the elderly close to the exit.
