Order placed and paid in February 2020 and not received

We have paid for an order on 20 February 2020 to the value of R3 989-06. I followed up a week later and they still have not done anything. Beginning March 2020 I followed up again and was told that it is peak season and that the loadshedding affected production. We requested delivery on 13th March and it did not happen. Then Lockdown & Covid-19 happened and still no word from them. In April I sent an email again and got the reply asking when we will be back at the school in order to deliver. End of April I received another email about problems with supply and that it will be sorted during the following week. On 18 May 2020 I received an email that their email was shutdown and have been restored and they are working on resolving and crediting all orders that have been delayed. After this I have sent email during June & August but have had no reply from them and I assume they have closed and our money is lost. Why can't they just inform us and not keep quiet on this?
