Empty promises and no answers, unprofessional !

August 17th 2014 8PM.<br> Arrival at guesthouse, nobody there.<br> Half hour later, 2 people arrived and showed our houses.<br> After they left, we missed 1 of our backpacks, while it was next to the rest of our luggage inside.<br> Camera's, headset, sunglasses and our 2 passports gone!<br> The owner couldn't believe this had happened.<br> After a full day at police office and copy shops, we delivered all paperwork needed for their insurance.<br> According to the owners, staff was properly trained and they would never let this happen.<br> So her conclusion was it had to be our guide who was responsible, but our guide had already left.<br> A bit later it was perfectly clear that the guesthouse wouldn't do anything to solve this issue.<br> To top the bill, they accused us of losing the backpack ourselves! Talking about being unprofessional!<br> Next day the staff found our passports but no backpack! Coincidence?<br> June 2015<br> Mails have been sent with invoices, police report, pictures of the equipment.<br> We are now at the point that the owners claim that we never stayed there while all reservations were done by an acknowledged travel agency!<br> All we get are empty promises and no answers!<br> Been patient for 9 months.<br> MY PATIENCE IS GONE
