SWD Alarms

I took my car into SWD for a new key on 1Feb 2023, expecting my vehicle back the same day. They inadvertantly broke the comfort control unit and they had to order a new part, with my car having to go to BMW George for the part to be fitted. I eventually received my car back on the 17th and as it was raining, I parked my car in my garage. When I checked my car the next day, I noticed marks on the bonnet where the clear coat had been damaged. I contacted Deon who told me that it was due to sun damage. My argument was that my car did not go into their workshop like that and surely after 2 weeks INSIDE a workshop, this should not have happened?? I had to listen to a long story from Deon about sun damage and I explained to him - I wash my car by hand, so I would definitely have noticed such a huge issue. He then proceeded to tell me that he checked his cameras and conveniently they had malfunctioned the day before the car was taken to BMW...I investigated with BMW and they said on their checklist when they received the car - the marks were there.. I will never recommend SWD Alarms to anyone.
