Throw away watches

I purchased a Swatch watch a little over two years ago for a cost of R1820.00. When the watch was two years and two months old it stopped working, it was not dropped wet or misused in any way It simply stopped working. I returned it to the Swatch shop at Cresta who informed me that battery needed replacing which they kindly did at no charge. Thereafter the watch lost time to the extent of 3-5 hours in 24. I returned it to Swatch who took it in for repair and had it for Approximately 1 month, the watch was returned to me saying it was not repairable as SWATCH WATCHES HAVE SEALED UNITS THAT CANNOT BE REPAIRED . My complaint is that I was not told at the time of purchase that should a Swatch watch stop Working for any reason AFTER THE EXPIRY OF THE WARRANTY it CANNOT BE REPAIRED DUE TO IT BEING A SEALED “THROW AWAY “UNIT, nor was I told when it was taken in for repair that it is not a repairable watch When communicating with Swatch and saying this is dishonest, I should have been informed when purchasing this watch that it is a “disposable throw away” type of item that cannot be repaired, their representative informed me that this information was in the Warranty booklet. This in my opinion is even more dishonest as WHO ASKS FOR THE warranty Booklet and study’s it before purchasing a watch ??
