Mother of the Bride experience spoilt!

I tried on and paid for a pantsuit for my daughter's wedding at S****y Modes La Lucia Mall. The pants had to be shortened and the top altered. I especially looked at the size of the pants I tried on and they were a size 36, the same as the top and the jacket. My sister-in-law collected the outfit for me as I don't live in Durban. I discovered later that the pants given to me were the wrong size-a size 38. The jacket and top were a size 36. As I was unable to go to the shop myself, my sister-in-law collected the right size pants and I kept the wrong sized pants to be returned after the wedding. Only to discover the night before the wedding, these pants were the wrong colour. So I had to wear the big pants puled up under my arm pitts and they kept on falling down. Now they won't give me a credit or refund because the pants had been altered for me and worn. They are adamant the pants I tried on were a size 38. But why would they sell a suit with varying size items anyway? The original fault was there's NOT mine. They argue that the size difference is not very great but I disagree. This was a very expensive purchase. They want to alter the pants. I want a refund the wedding is over.<br>
