Shocking Food

We decided to order 4 meals from Swaadisht in Gillitts in Durban yesterday.

We ordered a chicken dish coconut curry, a muton biryani, a mutton roti and a kebab roti. Firstly the roti's were very small, not the size you would expect when ordering from an indian food restaurant. They said they came with chips......about 15 cold and stale oven fried chips that were inedible. Other than being very small, the mutton roti was okay. The kebab roti was the worst roti I have ever eaten in my life. It was even smaller than the mutton roti, with a bone dry, no flavor sausage style mince thing that was no thicker than a vienna. No gravy and a bit of carrot salad......it was shocking. The Mutton biryani looked dry and did not even come with dahl, but at least was a decent portion. The coconut style chicken curry was primarily made up of a tub of sauce (which was not bad) with a few pieces of chicken.

To say that the food was disappointing is an understatement and Swaadisht should be ashamed for sending out food like that.
