Ongoing Vehicle Issues & Poor Dealer Support – Suzuki Zululand
I am extremely frustrated with the level of service and accountability I have received from Suzuki Zululand regarding my vehicle.
I own a 2024 vehicle that has already experienced multiple mechanical issues within a short period and low mileage (approximately 25 000 km). These issues have included:
Wheel bearing replacement
Repeated brake-related problems
Windscreen washer system failure
Most recently, suspension-related issues including upper bushes and a control arm replacement
While these items have been addressed under warranty, the frequency of failures on such a new vehicle is highly concerning and points to a lack of durability and reliability.
What is even more disappointing is the response from the Dealer Principal, who has attempted to attribute these failures to “road conditions” rather than acknowledging the pattern of defects. This is unacceptable. A vehicle of this nature should be able to handle South African road conditions without repeated component failures at such low mileage.
As a customer, I have:
Lost significant time taking the vehicle in repeatedly
Experienced ongoing inconvenience and disruption
Completely lost confidence in the vehicle
I am no longer willing to accept continuous repairs as a solution. I have requested a fair and reasonable resolution, but instead I am being met with deflection and a lack of accountability.
I am now escalating this matter further, as I believe my rights under the Consumer Protection Act are not being adequately respected.
I urge Suzuki Zululand and the relevant manufacturer representatives to take this matter seriously and engage with me to reach a proper resolution.
I am open to a constructive outcome, but continued excuses and shifting blame are not acceptable.
