Terrible Service, Never taking my car back
My car went in for a service and a complaint for a gearbox noise on fourth gear on July 25th, I got the car back that afternoon and nothing has been done regarding the gearbox, the warranty clerk at the time assured that they had laid a claim and that they were awaiting feedback to order the parts so that I do not have to spend to long time waiting for my car to return when it needs to return for the gearbox repairs as it was certainly a manufacturing problem. Fast forward to September 26 and I contact the dealership to find out if the claim had gone through and if the parts where there yet as the gearbox was getting worse. Nothing had been done and no claim was laid, and they had a brand-new warranty clerk, Dorothy, who openly admitted over the phone that she had no idea what she was doing and that she would need to speak to her boss and contact me that afternoon. The following day I contacted again as there was no communication from Suzuki once again, she had spoken to Robert (the foreman as I believe) he had advised her that I would need to send the car back and that the car would need to go for an assessment again on the gearbox and that they would only then be able to lay a claim but I would need to wait even longer for a curtesy car as they had none available at the time. I simply asked her to put this information in an email as I would not take their word for it as they have a reptation of not contacting me back, she refused saying that she didn't want to deal with it. I was not allowed to speak to Robert regarding this so had to contact the dealership again and again before getting through to the DP, Anton, he was shocked at his staff behavior and said that Robert would contact me that afternoon, which he did and then sent the email afterwards. My car only went in on the 17th of October. After battling for more than a month and Suzuki not contacting me, but rather me needing to contact them and three claims rejected from Suzuki SA due to Lake of information and Missing Documents/Forms we finally managed to get the claim approved and the parts ordered, which had a 7-week backorder on it and an ETA of Dec 16. Dorothy had assured me the week before arriving the date that the parts were all on track and would still be arriving on Des 16. The morning of Monday 21ste I receive a phone call from Robert saying that the main component (third and fourth hub) had not arrived and that they needed to order it again and would only arrive on Jan12th. So here I am almost 4 months down the line with a curtesy car worth less that my actual car that I still need to pay as well as insurance which I can't even use if anything were to happen and no parts for my car as of yet to even enable them to fix my car.
