Worst experience ever...
At Suzuki Clearwater, we had the most awful traumatizing experience. On the 16, May 2026 we went to Suzuki to buy a new Suzuki, as we arrived a salesman approached us, took us to his desk, and there we went through a process that we will never forget. Our salesman was looking for our needs, which was a new Suzuki Swift. They did not have the colour we wanted. Our salesman started looking on the computer and he finally found white one we would have preferred a gear car, but wouldn't mind if it was automatic we just wanted a white one with a bit of a struggle to get the key, he finally got the key, he was very excited to show us this new demo model that only had 16 km on the clock, he then told my husband to sit behind the wheel and to look around to see the car and yes, it was all excitement and we were all happy. We found our vehicle. Only thing is it was an automatic, but of course we did not mind. We then took photos of the car and memorized the number plate (MY 98 ZX GP). He then said we need to put a deposit which we did. He then copied a form with some detail details my husband's name surname address the make of vehicle was on there and so was the amount and the deposit we paid. He then highlighted the areas and said my husband must sighn where he highlighted. It was a very long dragged out session that day, but we were excited as we have now seen and sat in our new car. We app**** to release the money from one of our investments, finally when the money arrived, on the 26th I arranged vehicle insurance gave them all the details. On the 27th we phoned the salesman at 7:30 AM to get everything ready as we are doing payment and picking up the vehicle before my husband had to go back to work. We got there at about 8:30 in the morning and there was our vehicle still parked in the same place that it was a week and a half ago. Nothing was done the scratches which was actually tape marks from traveling, was still there after we asked for it to be cleaned I cannot believe the long dragged out session we went through. We even asked the salesman why is nothing ready and he said they're just tying up everything he said it would take another hour to hour and a half to get everything ready so we went over to Clearwater Mall for breakfast when we came back, our little vehicle was still out in the open show area. Still nothing was done. Next thing I went to see a car that was there from early that morning on the show floor with balloons and a red ribbon around and I saw a little banner there with our name on the plaque and congratulations and I went to my husband and I said I wonder what's going on here. Our name is on there. It ended up that was our vehicle but it wasn't the car we had bought the salesman got very nervous. We were very upset. We said that's not the vehicle we sat in. We went and had a look. This one had 4000 km on the clock already. It was nothing like the car we sat in and saw previously he said he will sort it out with his manager - he'd later came and he said to us the sales manager wants to hear our side of the story (wow🤷🏻♀️) we go to an office, sales manager standing there, now this is where it turned really weird. He used his corporate talk to try and fool us. You can see he told the sales man beforehand to not open his mouth the sales man sat there like a little child hanging onto the file, we then get to find out when the sales manager told us that the paper we signed (WE SIGNED). was for a gear car we then said that we sat in an automatic and that is what we were buying, He then said stupidly (trying to be all corporate), it's like buying a Suzuki, but expecting a Ferrari😱 (what a joke)... this sales manager covered for his salesman. My husband then asked them to cancel the whole contract we were told. We are going to lose our deposit, well, then my husband got upset. The sales manager closed the file and threw it on the desk. My husband mentioned taking this further the sales manager said will do so my husband walked out. The sales manager asked me to leave. I said I'm not leaving, I'm sitting right here till this is all sorted, You'll have to get the cops to get me out of here, he then threatened to call security and he mentioned something about emotions well buying a car is very emotional, my husband returned to the office and said he will take the car that they were offering, He just wanted to get out of there. Words cannot describe the experience we had. It was awful the next day, I was actually very ill very weird I've been through a lot in life. I've been through family deaths and more and I never felt like I felt that following day, it was horrible, but this is not the end as the car was been driven out, we noticed a mark on the rear window, to do with the smash and grab that was app****, the salesman contacted my husband that they would come to his work and fix it there. Hubby was told to bring his ID his drivers license and you know what, the salesman did not pitch, with the guy that was supposed to fix the flaw on the rear window, Suzuki Clearwater has left such a bad taste in our mouths this place if you can avoid avoid it do so that sales manager needs to be fired. He doesn't even know how to handle his salesman or his clients. And he tells us they have achieved PLATINUM STATUS😱. We are definitely never going back to Suzuki Clearwater. We will take it somewhere else for services, etc.. SHOCKING SERVICE AND SALESMAN AND SALES MANAGER! I believe we got the wrong salesman - I doubt they would all do this! And the Sales manager Marius just sucks!!!
