Worst customer service ever experienced!
I drive a Suzuki Celerio. At its 30 000km service I told them to check a noise coming from the gearbox, in which they found the release bearing faulty and replaced it as a factory faulted part through the warrantee. Added to that they phoned me and told me I need to pay in R4500 as my clutch is worn. So i asked to speak to the workshop manager and he explained that I don't have to but they're just letting me know that it's worn about 50%. I told them well im not paying that since it's a new car, so they finished the job without replacement.
Now at the 45 000km service I asked them to check on the 2nd and 3rd gear as it felt sticky. They checked it, then phoned me back after 2 hours and told me to pay R7800 for a clutch kit as I am 4000km out of my clutch warrantee, on top of the service price of R5400 (Bare in mind that they never mentioned anything about being inside a warrantee when it was there previously). So from there it was just a mess to get the help I needed. I phoned head office, told them the entire story, then got a call back from head office saying that Suzuki Boksburg said that they didn't ask for any money but that they are waiting for my confirmation on opening the gearbox?!
So they opened the gearbox, replaced the clutch it seems. But, when I went to fetch my car I was only given the documents of the service invoice but no proof of anything done on the clutch itself. Plus I was notified by sms that my car is ready for collection but I thought maybe it's just to do with the completion of the service.
No one phoned me to tell me what the update on the clutch is, whether I must pay or whether It's through the warrantee.
