Warning: Suzuki's Dreadful Customer Service & Blame Game

The customer service at Suzuki is shockingly poor, characterized by accusatory mechanics who exhibit narcissistic tendencies. Recently, after four years of ownership, a bolt unexpectedly came loose from my car. Instead of addressing the issue responsibly, the staff immediately accused me of having been in an accident, a claim they couldn't substantiate. Later, they shifted the blame onto me, alleging tampering without any evidence to support their accusation. They've demanded a steep fee of R3000 to rectify the issue, threatening to void the warranty if I refuse. This situation underscores the subpar quality of Suzuki vehicles; I can affirm with cer*****y that my car has never been involved in an accident or tampered with. Despite being an engineer myself, their mechanic insisted that a bolt secured with Loctite couldn't possibly come loose, a claim I know to be untrue. What's the purpose of offering warranties for electrical and mechanical components if customers are unjustly accused of mishandling their vehicles? There was no concrete evidence presented by the mechanic, merely assertions that the bolt couldn't have come loose. I strongly advise against purchasing a Suzuki vehicle based on this distressing experience. Throughout this ordeal, I maintained a composed and rational demeanour, yet the company persisted in evading responsibility by exploiting technicalities. Buy something else with your hard earned money.
