Think twice before you buy a Suzuki

I would just like to let others know that Suzuki is a good and well priced vehicle,but that is where it ends. They make up for the low price when something goes wrong and you have to buy spares. I recently had to replace a wheel bearing on my Child's Suzuki celerio at a ridiculous cost of a R1800 only for the part excluding labor, where a normal vehicle cost would be around R500 for the part. Then I got a even bigger surprise on the other Suzuki celerio we own. The remote unit of factory fitted central locking system started playing up and I was told that they could not order me a new remote key and that I had to buy a complete new lock and ignition set. The quote was R6500 to replace the complete system!!!I have never heard of anything so ridiculous and the vehicle only has 46000km on the clock and still under warranty with a full service history from Suzuki ,but they claim this is not covered under the warranty. The Suzuki we had to replace the wheel bearing on only had 76000km on at the time we had to replace it.

I will never buy a Suzuki again!!!! and I suggest before you purchase a Suzuki make sure what the parts are going to cost you and how good the after sales service is !!
