Suzuki warranty and service plan is a ****

It is now week 23 since my mechanical issues with my 2021 Suzuki Jimny began, and it is still sitting in a Suzuki workshop and Suzuki is refusing to provide an alternative car or any compensation. I have shared my Suzuki experience on Facebook (links below), and plenty of other disgruntled customers will gladly help build your story. Here is my Suzuki experience: 2021 - Bought the Jimny in Polokwane. The salesman says, 'You probably know everything about the car. Here are the keys' and he goes to sit behind his computer. No "Congratulations", no offer to deliver the car, not even a stamp in the service book. NOTHING! (What a great impression to a new customer who just spent the most money they've ever spent on a single item) 2022 - Service in Somerset West - Good. 2022 - Service in Ballito - Left the oil cap off after the service; the engine ran dry - oil everywhere. Dealer's attitude - you can get some oil from us (50km away with no oil in the engine). They offered to clean it only after fighting them and getting vocal on social media. DAYS later, they collected it, used my fuel, and did a poor job of cleaning it before returning the car, which was still dirty and had less fuel. - No stamp in the service book! 2023 – July - I had an issue with a wheel speed sensor - take it to Pietermaritzburg Suzuki - After having the car for four days, they said the issue must be caused by the spotlight attached to the battery (Impossible). I then took it to Suzuki Salt Rock, who identified the problem immediately and pointed at the broken wire in the wheel speed sensor. They couldn't replace the part immediately and would need to order from Suzuki, but there was a backorder because Suzuki SA had NO STOCK IN COUNTRY. This was fixed by soldering the wire together because I was on my way to work in Eswatini. 2023 – August - I took the car to Suzuki Ladysmith to have the speed sensor replaced, as it had now stopped working. I chose to do this at my own expense, although it should be covered by warranty, it took weeks to order! After being charged R3.327.58 to fix this, it was repaired as a patch job with wires left exposed. 2023 – October - I took the car with precisely 60 000km on the odometer to Ladysmith for its 60 000km service - less than 3000km later, the engine blew. 2023 – December – My Jimny is returned to me with a refurbished (not replaced) engine in time for the holidays. After packing all my gear, the gearbox went, meaning I had to return the car to Suzuki Ladysmith but they refused to provide me with a courtesy car because their 'Salesman needs it for the holiday', forcing me to buy a ticket to Cape Town on Christmas eve. 2024 - February - My Jimny is returned with obvious gearbox issues. I have sent numerous emails to Suzuki customer care with no response regarding how they will fix my car. 2024 - March - As were my concerns, the gearbox that was not appropriately fixed failed, leaving me stranded in the middle of the karoo, and Suzuki again refused to assist with a rental car. 2024 – April – Still stranded far from home, two weeks after the second gearbox failure, and Suzuki has just contacted me to say they will begin the gearbox diagnosis today, but they don't know how long that will take, and they won't provide a rental car.
