Suzuki Sucks at Customer Service!

I purchased a Suzuki Swift in December Jan 2023 with 36,000 km's and with a full-service history. The previous owner worked for a Brake and Clutch Company for 20 years and knew exactly how to drive the car correctly. I have been driving for 30 years and I have never had a clutch problem. After a month of driving the clutch started to slip intermittently and I took the car (still under warranty) to Thorpe Motors in Table View. The service advisor was quick to let me know that the clutch is not covered in the warranty before the vehicle was even checked in for an inspection. The vehicle was checked in and subsequently, the advice was that it was "Driver abuse" and I would be liable for a cost of R5600 for parts, plus the labour to replace the clutch, however, the dealership would send the vehicle off for an independent assessment and report. I was told the inspection could take a week so it would be best to drop my car off on a Monday to give maximum time for the inspection. Granted there were a bunch of public holidays between easter and Mar 21st, 2023 which meant that there were all sorts of delays in getting the car booked in and then getting the report back. This took several weeks, not days, weeks. The report came back that it was NOT driver abuse but a fault with the Slave Cylinder Piston. Very much to my delight, I was then contacted to say that this is a warranty claim and that the report would be sent to head office for approval and then repairs. This was now 4 weeks later. Granted, the report was received on the 26th April wedged once again in between a long weekend of public holidays. To date, apparently, Suzuki head office has not yet approved the claim so no work has commenced on my car. It is now approaching the 7th week without a car, or for that matter, without me contacting the dealership or the dealer principle, I would have zero communication on the progress of when I can expect to have my car back. In my opinion, the dealership should go ahead and replace the parts and then sort out their own internal claims with head office for the clutch, that is called customer service. Why should I be the one trying to find out all of the time what is going on with my car, when will I possibly get it back completely repaired and no longer be inconvenienced without a car for close to 2 months now? Not even the offer of a replacement vehicle in the meantime for the inconvenience? Perhaps Thorpe Motors and Suzuki would like to pay for my Uber bills over the past several weeks? As much as I love the car, this has left a bad taste in my mouth and extremely disappointed in the dealership that is literally 500m from where I live. At least one consolation, I can walk to the dealership to visit my car! They have had it for almost more time than I have. Suziki head office, get your act together! Its a disgrace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
