Suzuki South Africa turning a blind eye!!
I bought a Suzuki from Suzuki Witbank in October 2014. I payed cash. The previous owner traded it in during August/September 2014. Suzuki never payed the bank the money after receiving my payment. They kept coming up with excuses as to why they can't give me the NATIS document of the car, claiming that 'the delay is with the bank not us' and later because of 'the festive season' during December. After countless attempts to get the NATIS document they phoned me end of January 2015 to spill the beans. Almost 4 months after I bought the car!! Suzuki knew last year of the ***** of Levoy van der Merwe (then owner of Suzuki Witbank) but kept quiet until January. By then of course there were new owners. A guy from the bank came to my house to collect 'their' car as they are the NATIS holder but I refused. Although I payed Suzuki Witbank for the car,it is still 'legally' the bank's vehicle. The bank will come with a court order to take MY car which I PAYED for and return it to the previous owner with who they have a contract. Suzuki South Africa is also responsible as they should have kept an eye on their dealer, but no help will come from them. I've lost everything not Suzuki!
