suzuki sa poor service to new buyers no explanation of warranty period

we bought a suzuki ugnis at mitmak motors and we were not unformed of the warranty to service the car one year after purchased. In November the aircon broke down and we took the car to suzuki witbank to be fixed. It was then that we were informed we missed the service date and now had to pay R2300 out of our own pocket to service the car. We explained our situation to suzuki sa without any success.
