Suzuki Jimny latent defects.

I bought a Suzuki Jimny six months ago. I have done no OffRoad travelling and yet the undercarriage is full of rust. The Transfer box makes a horrible noise. Suzuki tells me "Thats a Jimny, they all rust and make that noise., just get used to it." To my mind such a comment indicates that the vehicle has latent defects which they do not tell consumers when you buy the vehicle. It will be interesting to see what the Consumer Council say about it. The vehicle is also abnormally unstable at 120km/h.
