Suzuki Fury Fourways could not find techincal issue with Suzuki Jimny 1.3lt

My Suzuki Jimny was giving a fuel starvation issue, so I took it to Suzuki Fury Fourways to have the issue solved. No report was given to us the client after diagnosis and prior to repair to indicate where the problem was. We were advised to replace fuel filter and the fuel pump, and these items are inside the fuel tank, so that was opened up. We were told there was rust in the tank and this was probably causing the problem,, so the fuel tank was cleaned and we requested that only the fuel filter be replaced, not the fuel pump at the same time, as the amount Suzuki was then asking was around 18k for this.

The issue on the vehicle was not solved and the fuel starvation issue proceeded to worsen, so I took the vehicle to a trusted NON SUZUKI mechanic to look into the issue properly. It was then discovered the actual issue was the Coils on the car, not the fuel system.

It seems Suzuki Fury Fourways, had no clue on diagnosis of the issue, or did not even do a diagnosis. On multiple Jimny forums it is often pointed out that this issue is Coil related and that often Suzuki advise to replace the fuel pump.

My 8k invoice for an unsolved issue I find disappointing and the entire ordeal unecessary so would not recommend Suzuki Fury Fourways to anyone in the future.
