SUZUKI Centurion customer signature forgery and poor quality of repairs
To Suzuki South Africa: I very disappointed in my experience at your Centurion Dealership. I took my car for a steering rack replacement on the 28 November 2017 and fetched it in the afternoon of the 29 November 2017.
The steering rack was adjusted according to Andrew Naidoo who books in the vehicles at Servicing. I did not sign any documents to confirm that I was happy with the job done on my car.
I later found out by chance when the invoice was sent to Discovery (my insurer) for payment, that my signature was forged and stated that I was satisfied with the repairs. This is very shocking that someone from Suzuki would do such a thing. I was informed by Andrew when we visited the dealership on the 2 December that it was his service manager who did this. My wife was present with me when he admitted this to us. I requested to see the invoices that were forged, he had informed us that they were filed and that he does not have it. He also admitted that he had not given me any documents to sign on the day (29 November 2017) I picked up my car.
I requested to speak to the dealer principal, Andrew said he wasn’t present and that he would ask him to call us on 4 December 2017 (Monday). This did not happen. I called in on Monday and spoke to Suzette, she had confirmed with me the dealer principal is not in and that she would make him aware of the incident that transpired. It is 19 December 2017, over 2 weeks since this issue was raised to Centurion Suzuki staff and the dealer principal has not contacted me. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone as the above proves that the staff cannot be trusted. The repairs to my car are not satisfactory as the issue (knocking noise) still exists.
Suzuki SA please contact me with a resolution. I have been patient with this dealership and cannot see a way forward. I will not take my car back to this dealership for final repairs as I do not trust anyone here. I look forward to your response.
