Suzuki Carry manufacturing defect and no solution/explanation

I have a Carry - in 2 years I have done 10,000kms so I really don't drive a lot just over a 400km average per month - my driver side the front piece of the wheel arch have been badly welded. In actual fact it was held together by the paint. My shorts caught on these and cut but I thought it was just catching on something in the workshop. It was only when my leg was cut, and felt the blood running down my leg that I realized that something is wrong and I investigated.

Suzuki customer care told me to take it in to the dealership so they can have a look for a report. Ok, so I took in the Carry for a service and assessment to Suzuki Centurion. Without telling me they drove it all over town to a panel beater. This I already did @ Auto Magic Centurion Jet Building A1, 2180 Theron Street, Lyttelton Manor Ext 8, Centurion. This is an approved Suzuki panel beater as Suzuki's per website https://www.suzukiauto.co.za/approved-panel-beaters/ .

Now the dealership wants to send it to god knows somewhere while I have an approved panel beater 1.3km from me.

As for the assessment it seems there was none. I have questions::

1) I want to know why that body panel is "short"? 2) I don't know if the left panel is the same as the right panel? So the fix the one side and just out warranty the other side does the same? 3) The right hand side's spot weld is nowhere near where the panels "overlap" with maybe 1mm (?!). The paint is literally the only thing that held it in place. So the spot welds welded NOTHING. How is it going to be solved?

Suzuki's response is standard when I email them "Thank you for getting in touch with us. A Suzuki representative from our customer care team will be in contact with you as soon as they are able, to deal with your enquiry. (sic)" they don't and there it stops. This has been dragging on for over a month now at this point. It seems that they just care about their upper range and the Jimny owners. I feel for my my fellow Carry owners, and the owners of the cheaper range.
