Suzuki Bryanston don't care about their clients
Complaint about the Suzuki Splash, 2015 purchased from Suzuki Bryanston on 10-07-2017.
I am writing regarding the purchase of the Suzuki Splash 2015 and I would like to bring the following to your attention:
• On the 05-04-2018 I was on my way to work from my residence in Vanderbijlpark to Johannesburg. About 2 kilometres from my workplace I heard a swooshing sound and steam came out from the air vents on the inside of the car. I immediately pulled over and noticed that the car overheated as indicated by the temperature gauge. I was with a female colleague of mine and we felt very unsafe at the place where we broke down. I waited for about 30 minutes for the car to cool down and then slowly drove to my workplace about 2 kilometres away. On arrival at my workplace, a male colleague of mine checked under the bonnet of the car and informed me that the entire water bottle of the car was missing. I then arranged for the car to be towed to the nearest Suzuki workshop. • After inspection of the car by the workshop personnel at Suzuki JHB, they indicated to me that the water bottle and hose as well as the heater core had to be replaced. They further informed me that the cylinder gasket might be blown but that I need to drive the car for a few hundred kilometres before this could be confirmed. • I further learned that the factory warranty and road assistance on the car expired because Suzuki Bryanston, from who I brought the car, did not load my details on their system to notify me of the service due before the one year expired/ 30000km. I bought the car on 10-07-2017, and only had until 31-08-2017 to service the vehicle, I was unaware of this as I was never informed by Suzuki Bryanston
I personally went to see Jon, the used car manager at Suzuki Bryanston on Tuesday (17-04-2018). Jon undertook to give feedback before 12:00 on Wednesday (18-04-2018) on why the water bottle could have just fell out of the car. He also undertook to make available the 100-point check report on the car that was in the file. I phoned him the Thursday (19-04-2018) and he said the file is on his desk and he will attend to it as a matter of urgency. I received no further feedback from him.
