No Airbag deployment - Suzuki SWIFT - 1.2 GL - 2016

To Suzuki South Africa customer care On the 24th of September 2017 my daughter was in a serious accident with her Suzuki SWIFT 1.2GL – 2016 model. The airbags did not deploy and she was seriously injured as a result. Graciously her life was spared. This is totally unacceptable and cannot (and we won’t) just be left. Especially when Suzuki claims they are brand of the year and advocating and falsely selling to the public all the safety features of their vehicles that they do. We understand the sensitivity of negative advertising and therefore do not want to expose this inferior product information on the various medias available before Suzuki SA let us know how they will accommodate and handle this. You can understand that we cannot wait for a reaction indefinitely and wil therefore in all fairness give time for Suzuki SA to respond till 24th November 2017. If we do not receive a reply with a satisfactory solution, we will be left with no other choice than to warn current and potential Suzuki owners about the dangers of owning a Suzuki and the attitude of Suzuki SA towards their clients safety. We have huge financial losses and the owner had to endure unspeakable physical and emotional trauma. All thus as a result of an inferior product / component. Regards Nadine
