I DON'T TRUST SUZUKI OR CAR DEALERS

So, I put down a R5000.00 deposit on a Suzuki Jimny 2018 with Suzuki Bryanston, following a week I test drove the car and having received an OTP which I sent to my finance team to assist me in securing the vehicle.

The next day I was told the vehicle was not mine and not available, it was on a shipment, then I got calls from a product manager who promised he would secure my vehicle (and later promised to be transparent and send me a mail confirming that his promises were to no avail, which I still have not received).

The car they promised was sold, and days turned to weeks of these false and empty promises while my deposit sat in their account. A possible solution arose to sell me a automatic despite my expression initially to wanting an MT to go on 4x4 journeys in my dream car.

Only after numerous attempts to escalate this, did the DP eventually get a hold of me and then dead silence and no communication followed. He had looked for possible cars and went to meetings with Suzuki SA (which is believable because there is no response from them, so possible empty promises or silence trickles down from there to Bryanston).

I have sent numerous emails and tried to escalate this with Suzuki SA but that also ended in silence and lack of potential customer loyalty or advocacy.

This is the most appalling customer service I have ever experienced and my dream car has been ripped from me and tarnished with the lack of care in a matter like this.

It was expressed that stock later became an issue and there is reiteration of dealers holding onto cars to fulfill their profits, but I believe customers who could be lifetime loyalists and advocates should come first.
