Highly disappointed in Suzuki
It saddens me to share my frustrating experience with Suzuki Paarl and Suzuki head office. Earlier this year I noticed the Suzuki I bought for my daughter in October 2020 from Suzuki Fourways had some rust marks at the bottom of both front doors. The rust marks are aligned to holes on the inside of the front doors where it seems rain water collects that runs down the windows I think and then it has nowhere to go? Regardless, the Vechile was purchased brand new and still under its 5 year guarantee so I took it to the local Suzuki branch in Paarl on 1 August to have a look at the rust. (We relocated to Paarl 2 years ago). The lady handling the “claim” said she is aware this happens often as they have had similar issues in the past and it will be escalated to head office. She took my details and photos and I send her copies of the service book etc. It took them more than 6 weeks to respond and when I phoned I was told the lady handling the matter has left. I resubmitted my claim and since then all response I’m getting is that it’s in the system at head office and pending. Its been 3 and a half months. No solution and no feedback. Today I sold the Suzuki for a loss - but I will never purchase another Suzuki. Absolute no compassion or empathy from head office. Suzuki Paarl only started giving feedback when i made a huge fuss by sending me regulair updates that said their hands are tied and the matter has to go via the various departments at head office. How disappointing and frustrating and what a terrible way to treat a loyal customer. My son has recently bought a new car and was looking at a Suzuki - I told him not to based on my experience. Goodbye Suzuki. You will never see me again.
