Gearbox mulfunctioning on a 4 month old car

I bought my Suzuki in Nov 2018 brand new. It's auto gl and when I drive it feels like it jumps when it changes gears. I have sent an email to the complaints department where I was told if it has a problem it needs to be fixed.

Why should a car less than 6 months accident free be fixed? Can someone get back to as the car is not performing as it is supposed to. This is unfair treatment to a client.
