Defective vehicle and terrible dealership service
I purchased a new Suzuki Ertiga in November 2019 from a dealership in Durban North. Around September / October 2021 I experienced issues with the steering. I booked the car in at the dealership, they apparently logged a service claim with Suzuki. This issue was only "sorted" out in January 2022. When I collected the car from the dealership, the noise was still present and the steering still had the same issue, I called the service adviser and advised him of the issue. I also had a problem with the middle seat sinking in, they also attended to this but the workmanship was not up to standard, the seat now moves and is rattling like it is an old vehicle. My car was booked in again around August / September 2022 to rectify the steering and the seat. To date, even after numerous phone calls, I have not had any outcomes. The other side of the eat has now also started to sink in. I am paying a substantial amount for the vehicle and am really disappointed as it now drives worst than my 1989 model vehicle that we still own. If there are issues with the vehicle, it should have been replaced when they were unable to rectify it. One year later and I am still battling to sort it out, eventually it will become undrivable but I will still be required to make payments?
