Stellar Old School Service

Good morning!

I recently had a great experience at Suzk Auto Repair in Strand, Cape Town.

My experience was as follows. I had been having issues with starting my car. However, I had also not taken my car for a service in a while. She was overdue. So besides the clockspring that I still have to get fitted by the agents, I thought the immobiliser needed to be checked out.

Anyways, I took my car in at 8am. It was my first time at this business. Walking in, I was rather impressed with how clean and tidy the premises was. Everything seemed to be in it's place, and not a grease mark in sight. Even the floor seemed clean. You know... that first impression one gets? Well, this was good. It immediately sets one's mind at ease.

I should tell you that trusting auto businesses in the Helderberg, (Strand is part of the greater Helderberg area) is somewhat dicey. I have had some interesting bad experiences here. So this experience with Suzk Auto Repairs was especially special.

So, let's continue. When Arno walked out of the office, it struck me that he was dressed professionally in suit pants, shirt and tie. WOW!! Not an overall, not a pair of old jeans that don't wash clean anymore, he was dressed in regular office wear. Representing his business. Obviously, he has a partner doing the manual work.

He offered me a lift back, which I happily accepted. During the journey, I expressed my need to be in possession of my car by 2pm for work. I work for myself, so missing appointments means losing money.

Well, I got my car back by 12pm! WOW! I couldn't have been more impressed. And it was spotless. They had washed and vacuumed my car inside and out. It's absolutely the first time ever, that there were no bumps, scratches, boot scuffs, grease marks, or handprints on my car. Super super impressed. THANK YOU SUZK AUTO REPAIR!

The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I didn't get feedback on the immobiliser.

This business is worth recommending.
