Bad product and service from Suunto and Sportsmans Warehouse

Bought a Suunto Spartan Trainer from Sportsmans Warehouse. In 6 months the strap broke and I took it in to Sportsman Warehouse Sunningdale. They then had to send it to Suunto. The manager said he has to apologise because it will only get to the supplier in 4 days because of Covert 19 delays. I waited almost 3 weeks, then got a call from Sportsmans Warehouse that Suunto will send me a new upgraded unit. A couple of days later they phoned me that it arrived. I went to the shop, found the watch in the box which I originally sent back, the watch was the newer model Suunto 5 which I was happy about, then inspecting the watch I saw it has been worn, the straps had clear wear marks. I showed the manager and after long on the phone with the supplier he said Suunto will send me a new one again and apologised. He offered to give me this unit to wear in the meantime but I declined this as I do not want to go through more unnecessary paper work and hassles. I waid I will rather wait for the new one. Today, 1 week later again I phone Sportsmans Warehouse and the lady answering sounded surprised that I phone so quick. They clearly did not expect to have anything in a weeks time. I spoke with the manager and he said he will make an effort to get this sorted. They keep on blaming covert for the delay although I ordered something myself from Jhb to Cpt and was ordered and receipt in Cpt in 3 days during this time. This is really bad service from Suunto and Sportsmans Warehouse. At this stage I do not know where the real hold up is and also not why I get old products sent as warrantee replacements.
