Exorbitant costs not disclosed prior to moving in

Water is billed at commercial rates. My bill is R 1 300 when it should not be more than R 300. They are unwilling to acknowledge their incorrect registration. They don’t inform tenants and we are having to pay so much because they are not registered as a residential properly. We sign residential leases where this is not disclosed and they don’t care that what they are doing is wrong.

Multiple residents are unhappy and we aren’t being helped. We will now have to incur legal costs to fight this matter.
