Stunning Location for a Bad Resturant

One couple invited us to join them for breakfast @ Surfside restaurant and as I had not been to that part of the restaurant for years, decided it was time and what a disappointment. <br> <br> I really thought service would be quick when we were seated, given menus and received our drinks in a space of 15 minutes, but then disaster hit. Tables all around us were searching for their food and wondering why others were being served before them. <br> <br> Our order took 55 minutes to come out and that was only for half the table. With cold food presented to us, we still had a 5 minute wait AND had to ask a waiter for our friends food, so we could start eating together. <br> <br> The staff were not friendly - never smiled once, I checked. The food was mediocre & felt like cheap pub food rather than restaurant style food. The music set a terrible, depressing atmosphere and the establishment could do with a steam clean on chairs or carpets. <br> <br> So much potential and it's not being reached.....
