Bad Service

Friends were visiting from Gauteng and 6 of us went for supper booked at 6pm at Surfside Restaurant. 1 person paid with a Groupon Voucher for a Platter for 4 and the other 2 ordered a platter for 2. Before coming we phoned to confirm whether they have a platter for 2 and its cost. This was confirmed telephonically. We waited in total a solid 2 hours for our food to arrive. Other patrons got served before us and even left before got our food. We were then told that we did not produce the Groupon Voucher when we arrived. However the Waitor never asked for the voucher. When the food eventually arrived after 2 hours the 2 that ordered the platter for 2 each received individual plates. In addition when the hot drinks arrived it was cold. When we received the Bill we then realised that we have to pay for x2 individual platters as the menu does not have a platter for 2. Again the Waitor did not explain this. We tried explaining this to the Manager who was adamant that we ate the food therefore we should pay for it. However the issue was not paying for the food
