Surfing ****
I lost my sunglasses. So I bought a pair at this store. Within 24 hours one of the lenses came out while I was cleaning them. I returned them to the store only to be told that I had to have a credit note or take another pair of sunglasses. After a difficult exchange on both sides I had no choice but to take the substitute sunglasses. The consumer protection act was thrown into the exchange and on checking I realised I had no argument. However, on returning to my car I thought to check the second pair of sunglasses and the same fault happened. So I returned to the store immediately. This time I was well within my rights to ask for my money back. I was refused a refund based on how I had spoken to the owner so I apologised. I WAS STILL REFUSED A REFUND. I was then called a **** by the owner, so I called her out and asked her to play her camera footage to prove her accusation, she would not and she still insisted on a credit note. In conclusion, this store targets tourists and exploits these customers knowing they are never going to return most times. I have a business myself and would not force bad quality service or goods on anyone. She could very easily have recouped her money from the sunglasses agents but stubbornly refused to even budge, basically lumbering her customers with sub par quality goods. If you are passing through Plettenberg Bay run if you see this store....
