Motorvaps false sales and refusal to pay claim

On the 13th of May I was contacted by Surestrat insurance broker specifically Rifaart agent's name, he contacted me selling me an insurance and wanted to do a quotation for me, I refused at the beginning and I told him I was happy with Outsurance because I was paying them a monthly premium of R2 576 and an excess was R9000, after I had shared this information to him he told me that he can get me an insurance where I can pay less premium with no excess at all, after hearing this good news I gave him a chance, he explained to me that he will do a quotation for me from different insurers, I then told him that I have done that already and only outsurance is offering me a great deal, to summarize I let him go ahead, after getting the necessary information from he came back with 3 different quotes of which MiWay was a better option with R2400 premium and an excess of R15 000, he told me not to worry about the excess because motorvaps will take care of it and all I have to do is to pay R189 per month and he told me I am covered immediately if I sign up and motorvaps will pay the excess of Miway approves approves my claim in the event of an accident, I then agreed on the same day which was the 13th of May, and they sent me the policy documents, unfortunately on the 10th of June 2019 a taxi crashed into my car and I lodge a claim with Miway which approved my claim and the damage were R50k and an excess was R20k, I didn't bother that much because I knew I was sorted with an excess, I then lodged a claim with motorvaps through my broker Surestrat, which they declined and said I cannot claim within 30 days after taking an insurance, they did not tell me this when I was taking my insurance and I refused a multiple times to take up this insurance but the broker insisted that if as long as I have a valid claim with Miway, motorvaps will approve, and Motorvaps is coming up with a lame excuse to avoid settling thier obligations, I will go further with this as far as taking it to the Ombudsmen because what Motorvaps is selling if a false product knowingly that they will find a simple excuse not to pay, I even went to check to thier website, all other insurance products have a waiting period but there's no waiting period mentioned on the excess eraser which magically appear when they have to pay.

I have a valid claim from Miway, why is Motorvaps running away from settling thier obligations???
