"Local" is lekka

I can absolutely without a doubt recommend this Spar. I grew up in the area and therefore visited the store daily but even now that I moved out of the area, I still make a turn there atleast 5 days a week. Their ready made over the counter meals are as good as home cooking. I've never had a problem where certain items were not available (unless it's been on special then one would understand). Even the Spar branded items are of high quality. Last night I wanted to buy ingredients for supper and went to the closest OK but some of the items were not available, from there to another Spar, nope, to a Pick n Pay, nope, all the way back to my "local" Spar and there I found all the items I needed and more. The Bakery has the yummiest bee stings and savoury breads at very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly. I have however noticed that the owner and certain management staff are not as friendly as I think they could be but that's my personal take on it. Others may not agree. I'm also sad that the return on the Rewards card was stopped but perhaps they had a reason for that. I haven't really enquired. All round a very pleasant and not too expensive store to shop at. I love the layout of the store. Everything is spacious and always clean. Well done owner, management and staff on the impeccable quality and service of your store.
