Superga shoes losing colour

I bought my daughter a pair of superga shoes as I have always loved their quality, owning a few pairs myself. The day after I bought them we went to a restaurant which was a bit of a walk on red sand. So upon returning home I washed the entire families shoes with some water, OMO and a soft cloth. (which is how you are advised to clean their shoes) To my horror my daughters brand new shoes worn for no more than 30 mins lost its colour, it is now red, with white pieces all over. (My supergas did not, and has never discoloured) I took it back to the store the next day explaining me situation.

The store manager was lovely and understanding and escalated the situation to her district manager. She on the other hand refused to exchange the shoes and actually used the words 'we can not exchange due to a bad wash' She gave me the email for regional, whom never returned any email.

I wish I bought my daughter a different brand, they would probably have lasted more than 30 min. I will never support Superga again.
