Default on return policy at SuperDry a SHAM

On 28 August 2018, I purchased a S-M-Applique Zip thru good -54G-Ice Marl-X (Sweatshirt Athletic Applique goods) through SuperDry at Nicolway Shopping center in Bryanston, Johannesburg to the value of R950.00

After 2 washes (washed according to the label) I noticed that the leather badge on the right sleeve marked the material and also marked some of the material on the back of the sweatshirt.

I returned to SuperDry at Nicolway to request a refund on this garment. I was advised by the manager of the store that he would send pictures of the sweatshirt to SuperDry marketing department to request a refund.

A couple of days later I asked for feedback about a refund and was then told that the marketing manager (Carla Grove) has denied the refund and the return. No further details were given, it was just a flat out NO.

This is totally unacceptable!

1. I am asking for a refund with-in the 6 months return policy as stated on their receipt (Refunds on quality issues only & within 6 months of purchase date) 2. The garment was washed as per the instructions 3. Stains on the garment are from the leather badge on the sleeve, the colour has run into the fabric and does not wash out

I expect a full refund as the stains are no fault of mine but a designer fault considering the fact that the garment was not cheap and is now unwearable. I also demand an explanation as to why SuperDry will not honour my request. I am quite happy to report this matter to the Consumer Protection Council, should you not comply.

Looking forward to your response Helena Tilston
