********** by Super Tyres - PMB

Fitted 4 new tyres to my SUV yesterday. During the process, the technician broke one wheel nut. Whilst my vehicle was on the wheel alignment machine the manager called me over and told me that the wheel nut was "missing" when it came in. I was shocked to hear this as the car went in for service the day before and the wheel and all the nuts were in place. I was told that they could replace it for R450. Then I was told my vehicles camber was off and to adjust that, it would be an additional R450 per tyre. This was in addition to the wheel alignment cost. These guys are out to make a quick buck from their customers and prey on people that have no mechanical knowledge of care. Please be wary of them???

I have just received feedback from our MD. Apparently he spoke to you some time back, and resolved your issue? He made some compensation arrangement with you - we trust that you are satisfied. Kind Regards, Graham Bush, General Manager

If you look at the date of my original posting, it was 11 November 2021. The matter was addressed back then by Dean Horn. Compensation was offered but I rejected it. Although I am satisfied with the response, I will continue to forewarn the public about my experience at this company. Given Kevin R's recent experience here, it doesn't look like much has changed.

Hi, We are sorry that you still feel that way. Regarding the incident with Kevin R. we listened to a recorded phone call between him  and our salesman, whereby a mistake was made by us in quoting on a different size that requested .The misunderstanding continues throughout the conversation without the sizes ever being discussed again. This was a genuine mistake and by no means an attempt to mislead Kevin. Our brand promise is “The name you can Trust” and this is never something we would tolerate within our company.  Kevins issue has also been resolved by our MD. Thanks. Graham Bush, General Manager
