Disappointed and frustrated

Years worth of good service has been tarnished by this last month.

At the end of October after having a vehicular breakdown I took my NP200 to Nash Nissan for repairs. When they opened it and identified the fault it was determined that the part in question is a warranty item and needs approval from Nissan SA before they can replace it.

The process has been a nightmare with Nash Nissan and Nissan SA both continually stating that they are still waiting for approval. The vehicle has now been at the dealership for more than a month so I have basically paid my premium for a vehicle I have not used.

To further this problem it was more than 2 weeks before I was offered the option of a loan vehicle. In that time I purchased another vehicle to get to work with the hopes of selling the NP200 when I received it back. As things currently stand I seem to be on my way to a double car payment in December after which I will have to escalate the matter.

I understand that all companies have processes to follow, but the timeframes involved in this scenario is utterly unacceptable.

If askes previously whether I would recommend Nissan and Nash Nissan I would have said yes without a doubt, now I am not so sure anymore.
