Takes no responsibility, aggressive, threatening

They damaged my vintage Frystark dresser after I wanted to move it from our room and he insisted we leave it and that they will be careful. When I saw the damage, I immediately spoke to him and he got VERY aggressive with me while I had my 1yo in my arms and called me a **** and that I had no proof and that the dresser was damaged before he started working. He was throwing a literal tantrum in my house, making a very big scene. And very in my face. He also took down a large wooden frame from my one bedroom wall and left it on the wet carpet to soak up water. When they proceeded to my son's room, he tried pulling a large compactum on the carpet after I told him it can't be pulled and needed to be lifted, he has no regard for things that can break. His help was banging all the walls with the machine, very careless.

Upon completing their job, he demanded to be paid immediately - upon which my husband said he would eft, because NO ONE carries cash nowadays and that is how we pay all services to our home and he also did not stipulate beforehand that he wanted cash. He refused to leave our yard and started screaming and swearing at my husband at the top of his voice to give him his money and that he knew we weren't going to pay him. We had to call security as we were getting fearful of what he might do while my husband tried chasing him out of our yard. We eventually got him out of our yard and he sat outside our gate until we paid. My child was so scared as he is not used to people acting so disgustingly. He has never been exposed to any form of violence, until today. And from a complete stranger in his home. I am appalled!!!!!!!!

So now I sit with a damaged dresser, thanks to this guy. An irreplaceable dresser. I do have pictures of the dresser's condition before he started work, but I am very fearful of what he might do when one takes it further as he does not have company insurance (I asked him and he said he doesn't) Any advice? Our neighbours were so shocked by this guy's behaviour, they wanted to call the cops. And he screamed that we can phone whoever we wanted, really trying to intimidate us I'm just glad he left and didn't hurt us

..he said his work takes 4 hours to dry....it's been long over 4 hours and my mattress is still soaking wet, as well as my child's room...so don't even get me started on the actual work.

And I gave 1 star...only because I couldn't give 0.
