Terrible Sevice
Assessor report which was finalised on 27 February 2023 where it was noted that parts had to be ordered for my vehicle.
They were fully aware that parts must be ordered as they were not available in South Africa. They waited until Momentum authorized my claim on 18 March 2023 to commence the repairs on my car and order the parts. My car has been with them since 27 February, next week it will be two
They have provided me with only an eta of 4 May 2023 and could not provide exact date when my vehicle would ready for collection. It will almost be two months that my car has been at their shop and in May 2023 it will be three months.
This is really unacceptable service. They knew that the part was not available in South Africa, once again they could have ordered the parts before authorizatio, could have asked for per approval. As per their saying they do not have control. In this instance they clearly did, the parts could have been ordered already, in February and my vehicle should have been repaired by now.
I must now wait for my vehicle to be repaired. I am left destituted, as I will be without a vehicle until then. I cannot go to work which is in Stellenbosch. I will require a car until my vehicle has been repaired. I'm sure they will be quick to ask for the excess fee of R 3000.00 in order for them too release my car. I have emailed them, no reply and only an SMS about an eta.
