If you know what's best for your car and your pocket... Don't take your car there.

I've been taking my cars, the first car for almost 3 years and the 2nd car for almost 2 years. I have had my suspicions that my cars were not being serviced or there was something always lacking. The last major service was a revelation, I ended up paying over R6k only to have my car give me issues.

I took my car to other service places only to be told that my car appears to have not been serviced for a while. Filters were not old, oil looked even dirtier a day after service... etc. Then I had an issue with a rattling sound coming from the engine after the service, to which they told me that their "mechanics did not touch anything closer to the engine". Some of the tools were left in the boot of the car after the service. When I enquired about one that is missing, it was as if I am accusing them of theft.

They used to call to check if there are any issues with the car after the service. They did not do that anymore.

Now I am fixing issues that were not there until I took the car to them.
