Suspicious Behaviour

I had a puncture right outside the sasol in bedfordview. Immediately stopped when i seen the tyre pressure readings on the dash. Seen a cut on the side wall . Changed the tyre. Went to supaquick ormonde. Gave in the tyres. Waited in the waiting area. Technician informed me that there is no sensor in the tyre. I can't seem to understand how the sensor could come out of the tyre which was functional till the incident. He also informed me that they can install a sensor for an amount. This is very strange. I've had many vehicles with these sensors and this is the 1st ime I've ever experienced something like this. Definitely will not go back here. Please be aware .

Reviewer Update
Its been more than 24 hours. Still no reply. I have emailed the head office which is Bridgestone. Still no response. According to Mercedes benz the sensor cannot be removed without taking the tyre off the rim.
This is the email for head office
