Suspicious behaviour

I have recently been subjected to very suspicious behaviour at Supa Quick in Brackenfell. I went there with my first flat tyre. It was clear it was a puncture as the nail I had driven over was still in the tyre. While waiting for this to be fixed in the waiting room, I was called back to be shown a slash (like it had been done with a knife) in the side wall of the tyre making it unfixable, and having to buy a new tyre. At this stage I did not suspect anything, and had the tyre replaced.

A week later I had another flat tyre on the unused spare that had been put onto the car. It was a slow puncture as it went flat overnight. I brought it in (the did not know that I had been here a week before) and the guy said that this can be quite common on new tyres that have been pumped up but not used for a while. While again in the waiting room waiting for this tyre to be checked, the EXACT same thing happened. I was called back to the tyre to be shown a slash in the side wall of the tyre (EXACTLY the same as the previous one) , and thus making the tyre unfixable. The guy at Supa Quick clearly said this had been caused by a knife - very suspect as I lock my car behind gates and there is CCTV in the complex which picked up nothing). This time I did not replace the tyre at Supa Quick.

I wrote to Supa Quick, stating what had happened, and clearly said that whilst I cannot prove anything, the letter was intended to be on record should anyone in the past or future complain of the same thing. I received an extremely angry response from the franchise owner, calling me a ****, and that if I persisted with this story, legal action would be taken against me. This clearly is not a response from a man who is confident in his integrity and service, and has only made me more suspicious. A far more measured response was given on the telephone at Supa Quick head office, who assured me that they have full confidence in the integrity of this franchise. This is the response I would have expected from a man who acts with integrity.

Thus, to say again, as I said to Supa Quick, whilst I cannot prove anything, the coincidence of these events is reasonably, highly suspicious, and again, my aim in writing this is to have it on record, should anyone in the future, or past, be subjected to the same suspicious behaviour at Supa Quick Brackenfell. A further subsequent intention is to highlight the response received by the franchise owner. This is clearly not a way to treat your customers. I raised a valid suspicion, and you handled like a child Mr De Klerk. An assuring, confident email would have done, but instead you called me a **** and threatened legal action. Please note, that I was at the time, a customer of yours. No longer. Not an any Supa Quick. Anywhere.
